Welcome to the Random Hits Page
Throughout the rest of this site my goal is to provide original, relevant and timely content that you, the reader, will enjoy. If you learn something from us that’s great, but mostly I just want you to have a pleasant read.
In this section however, I don’t care what you think.
If you choose to click on the Random Hits Page prepare to indulge yours truly.
You see, I have a fascination with maps. For some reason I have had this fascination since I was a child. Just sit me down in front of an atlas and I don’t need any other entertainment for hours.
My father is the same way, as was my grandfather, and my grandfather’s brother, my rich great-uncle. So I guess I can’t help it.
Anyhow, you may have seen the small map with a bunch of little red dots that appears on The Stonecipher Report. Feedjit.com provides that map for free and it shows where the current TSR traffic is coming from. Each little red dot represents one of our last 100 hits on our page, and the map is constantly being updated.
I can’t get enough of this map, it’s incredible.
Traffic is coming from some expected places, like the home towns of our authors, but it is also coming from places like Caracas, Venezuela; Casper, WY and Adelaide, Australia.
As a map addict I have inspected the updated map from feedjit.com on a regular basis and I have seen some very interesting and unusual places pop up.
When I have found a new and random place I don't know anything about I have spent a few minutes researching it, and I have found some amazing things.
So for all of you geography buffs out there, and more importantly for me, I have created the Random Hits Page. There will be no schedule for the Random Hits Page, it will be updated randomly and will feature an informative piece about a place you’ve probably never heard of.
I hope you enjoy reading it, but really, I don’t care, cause I will enjoy writing it.
Thanks for stopping by and check back regularly for updates!
