I ain’t going to bed yet (but…probably soon!), so there may be something more if anything startling breaks before my eyes slam shut. But, in case this is the sputtering coda for this Election Night marathon of live-blogging, I wanted to thank you for checking in and out on me and my thoughts here at The Stonecipher Report. And look for some follow-up and analysis here in the next few days – AND, of course, on Monday’s radio show (at 3PM on WHPK, 88.5 FM or streaming live online at whpk.org). Thanks for letting me share this all with you tonight. And, while it may not have been the best night for Liberal and Progressive politics (Sen. Kirk? Christ…!), but…at least it was not a complete disaster. And…looking forward to 2012! (Tee-hee-hee!) Take care…
Whew…a long day – AND night. It’s finally slowing down, with the last, most-interesting bits remaining to be decided are the flood (leading other named candidates) of write-in ballots cast (but yet unsealed) in Alaska – meaning that Sen. Lisa Murkowski may well survive – and the absolutely razor-thin (currently around 10,000 votes) lead for Dem Gov. Pat Quinn here in IL.
