Friend of TSR Julie Driscoll Takes Rhetorical Swings to Land "Liberal TKO"s

Followers of our site and show may recall previous links to online work from – and even radio guest and co-host appearances by – my friend (and old across-the-street-when-we-were-growing-up neighbor) Julie Driscoll. Now, one of our fave Progressive bloggers has launched a new site, where she’s taking on all comers with sharp Liberal logic and wide-ranging, unafraid, independent-minded reporting.
"Liberal TKO" is where she’ll be landing blows on the Tea Baggers, the Party of "No!." FAUX News, and even Dems who wander crazily astray from the best Lib / Prog philosophical issues and policies. She’s already got some great, varied pieces up there about Michael Steele’s ironic call against perceived "corruption," Rep. John Boehner’s idiot war of words (which he ain’t gonna win) vs. an actual Beatle, some of the ups and downs of her previous Lib blogging contacts (a very informative read - and even a warning tale of the personal politics often found BEHIND political writing), and even a look at the burgeoning rap career of her 18-year-old son, MPulse.
I’m sure there will continue to be some crossover between our sites…but we definitely recommend that readers occasionally check out her enthusiastic, fast-reacting offerings of opinion and debate. Like the smart, never-back-down attitude of The Stonecipher Report, her Liberal TKO site is where you’ll find a feisty blogger writing and thinking with her rhetorical dukes up and eyes wide open. We encourage you to take a look…
