Even though we’ve survived the multi-late-night, plenty-o’-fill-in-shifts period of the holidays, The Stonecipher Report radio show still has plenty of topics to discuss and present to its listeners…plus, we’ll keep on trying to bring you interesting and diverse guests during our airtime.
Our Monday afternoon show, from 3 – 5 PM (Chicago time) will feature one of those special guests. Joining Tyler and me – via a live call-in interview during the show's first hour – will be Chicago Sun-Times columnist Neil Steinberg, one of my longtime favorite smart, observant, and funny voices on local and national issues and events. We’ll be talking with him about a few of the political items in the news lately – plus we’ll touch on some of the traditions, conflicts, and potential future directions surrounding the deep (and, at times, sticky!) subject of Chicago journalism. (Plus, we will also be filling in for another host and doing a Tuesday afternoon show, on from 1:30 - 3 PM...)
You can catch our show on local broadcast station WHPK-FM, 88.5 in Chicago and also streaming live online at www.whpk.org; just use the "Listen" tab (or the big "We are now STREAMING!" window) at the station's website. And, after the 34 hours we’ve spent broadcasting over the last three weeks…hey, we’re just getting warmed up! Hope you can join us…
